About Me

Welcome to SaucePots.net!

Sauce Pots is run by Alice, an amateur cook and baker based in Dublin, Ireland. Although I never really considered myself a cook, I never really tried to improve. Between horrific college dinners, and botched pineapple upside down cakes, I gave up pretty fast on any dreams of being proficient in the kitchen. However, with the end of college for a music student come copious amounts of time. And such, here we are. After a bit of self-education, I’ve improved no end, and decided to share my culinary adventures with whoever wants to read them. Although I do tend to concentrate more on the baking, you’ll find a little bit of everything here. I hope you enjoy trying out some of my recipes!

While I do feature some particular products in a few of my recipes, I never post about or feature any product I don’t personally like and use.

Some Facts About Alice:

I’m a musician and music teacher by trade (classical guitar!).

I’ve been seriously baking & cooking since circa 2013, and it has quickly become one of my favourite things to do.

I have a serious love of animals, particularly dogs and horses.

And a very unhealthy love of bread, red wine, and cheese.

    Hi Alice,

My name is Aisling and I’m the Community Manager at Zomato Ireland. I’ve checked out Sauce Pots and I was wondering if you ever considered setting up a Zomato profile?

New to Dublin, Zomato is a restaurant discovery platform that allows foodies to review, connect and interact – the Facebook for Foodies if you will! We offer a lot of great opportunities for bloggers like yourself and I would love to have you on board! If you are free in the next week or two please let me know, I’d love to meet up and discuss further.

Our website is https://www.zomato.com/ (or you can download our app via the link below). Have a look and let me know what you think.

    Thanks a million,

    Aisling 🙂

How many grams of zucchini do you use in your delicious looking couchette fritter recipe? I am so wanting to try your recipe.
    Sincerely, Doreen
